A room of your own, upstairs.
on the mezzanine.
Our mezzanine floor is a completely private area with its own table, seating up to twenty guests. Set apart from the main dining room but still part of the life of the restaurant, it is made for the occasions that deserve more than a corner table: landmark birthdays, anniversaries, retirements and company dinners.
Our home is The Exchange, in the heart of Aylesbury — high ceilings, warm low lighting, and a bar that anchors the room below. Arrival drinks at the bar, a seated meal upstairs, dessert and Turkish coffee to close: the evening flows the way you want it to.
We take private dining bookings for parties of twelve and above, and tailor every occasion around you — menu, drinks, timings and styling. Tell us the date, the numbers and the occasion, and we will put together a proposal with availability and minimum spend.
Tables for two, twenty, or two hundred.

You do not need the private room to make a night of it. From a table for two to a celebration for two hundred, we hold space for groups across the week and build the meal around the table — our set menu or the full à la carte, whichever suits the gathering.
It is where Aylesbury comes to mark the moments: work lunches and leaving dos, birthdays and baby showers, hen parties and family get-togethers. Generous mezze to start, charcoal grills to follow, and a team that keeps the evening moving.
Larger parties dine from our Group Menu — two or three courses from £29.90 a head, each guest choosing their own starter, main and dessert — which keeps service smooth and the table relaxed. Send us your date, numbers and any dietary needs, and we will take care of the rest.
Christmas dinners, done properly.

Christmas at Opuz is the festive dinner done properly — a four-course menu of modern Turkish & Mediterranean cooking, crackers on arrival, and the warm, candlelit room that makes the season feel like an occasion. From November through to the New Year, it is where Aylesbury gathers to celebrate.
It is made for a crowd: office parties, team lunches and family tables alike. We seat festive bookings from a table for two right up to two hundred guests. Book in your group, pre-order ahead of the night, and leave the rest to us — from welcome drinks to the last coffee.
December books up fast, so the earlier you reserve the better. Festive menus are available for groups throughout the season; get in touch for dates, party sizes and pre-order details.

music, dance & midnight.
Ring in the New Year with a night of live music, dancing and our full à la carte menu. From 9pm until midnight, the Hillier Prendergast guitar duo set the mood: two guitars and two voices playing classic songs from the golden eras of pop, jazz and easy listening.
During the evening, Tina-Louise takes the floor with a special belly dance performance. After the midnight countdown, the party carries on with music until 1am.
Tables are available from 8.30pm. Entry is £25 per person, with dinner ordered from our à la carte menu throughout the night. Tables for New Year's Eve are limited, so we recommend booking early.
Live music, every week.
the sound of the room.
There is a particular kind of evening that only live music makes — a singer by the bar, the room warm and full, the night stretching on a little longer than you planned. At Opuz, live performers join us on Friday and Saturday evenings to set the tone for dinner and drinks.
Settle in for the meal and stay for the music. Tables on live nights book up quickly, so we recommend reserving ahead.
