We want everyone to be able to use the Opuz Aylesbury website, whatever their abilities or the device they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at AA level.
What we do
The site has been built with accessibility in mind, including:
- semantic, structured HTML that works with screen readers;
- full keyboard navigation with visible focus states;
- colour contrast chosen to remain legible;
- descriptive alternative text on meaningful images;
- respect for the “reduced motion” setting, so animations are minimised if you prefer.
Known limitations
Some parts of the site rely on third-party tools that we do not fully control — including the ResDiary booking widget and the embedded Google Map. We have chosen these providers carefully, but their accessibility is ultimately maintained by them. If one of these prevents you from completing a task, please contact us and we will help directly.
